Today NASA has issued an alert for 2 asteroids getting closer to the earth. Jet propulsion laboratory According to, asteroid 2023 JB3 Today is going to be very close to the earth. On approaching, the distance between the two astronomical bodies will remain 5,420,000 km. This distance is less than 55 million kilometers. Whereas Estroids within a radius of 75 lakh kilometers are considered a threat to the Earth. Accordingly, Estroid 2023 JB3 is going to pass very close.
Space scientists are more cautious to large asteroids. Because they can cause heavy losses. The size of Estroid 2023 JB3 is 160 feet. It is as heavy as a large building. Such a large asteroid coming so close to the earth is not empty of danger. Apart from this, another asteroid has targeted the earth today. Its name asteroid 2023 ld Is. It is a 59 feet asteroid which is going to pass very closely. It will come so close to the earth that the distance between the two will be just 9.5 lakh kilometers. It is moving towards the Earth at a speed of 32763 km per hour.
Asteroids get so close, the planet’s gravitational power can come under the influence. In such a situation, there is a possibility that it is drawn towards the planet. Looking at the example, in 2013, a meteor body named Chelyabinsk in Russia torn the sky which damaged 8,000 buildings. More than 1000 people were injured in this. It was of 59 feet size. Estroid 2023 Ld is also of this size. In this way, both these big asteroids are targeting the earth today. However, NASA has not yet issued any warning like colliding with the earth.
